Edwards
Edwards
is a thriving community, the largest population center in Eagle County
and the home of Nash & Company! Six charming shopping districts
reflect contemporary interpretations of the Old West. With more than 25
restaurants and over a hundred shops and businesses, this busy little
community has a wonderful small town feel. A warmer climate extends the
golf season two months longer here than courses at higher altitudes. The
recent approval of the development of the Fifth Filing at Berry Creek
will create 282 units of affordable housing in a new urbanism style, along
with a new recreation site, high school, and a new Colorado Mountain College
campus.
Singletree
Singletree
is a graceful, sun-drenched neighborhood overlooking Edwards from the
north. The varying elevations offer some of the best views of New York
Mountain and amazing sunsets. Mornings can offer a myriad of picture perfect
scenes as elk and deer often graze on the golf course, while festive hot
air balloons gently float by. The Sonnenalp Golf Club also offers swimming
and tennis, while many parks and bike paths present ample opportunities
to explore.
Cordillera
Absorb
the pristine grandeur of untouched vistas seen previously by Indians,
cowboys and now you. Cordillera represents a unique opportunity to live
in a gated world-class resort surrounded by unspoiled Colorado beauty.
Miles of National Forest create living buffers, which ensure unobstructed
views, solitude and chance encounters with wildlife.
Unparalleled world-class
amenities and services enhance the casual yet refined lifestyle enjoyed
amid four superb golf courses. Each of the four Cordillera communities offers their
own distinctive flavor, with choices between enclave and separate custom
homes. The Divide, sitting on a mountain ridge, sparkles like a gem in
the twilight, offering immediate access to a world-class spa, the Lodge
at Cordillera, tennis courts, the Dave Pelz Short Course, as well as dining
at Picasso and Grouse-on-the-Green. Cordillera Valley Club, located on
the northern floor of the valley, is home to the Tom Fazio Valley Course,
and the Chaparral, offering mouthwatering steaks and some of the best
sunset views of Bellyache Ridge. The Ranch at Cordillera hosts the elegant
Timber Hearth Grille, The Trailhead family center and the Hale Irwin Mountain
Course with sweeping views of the Sawatch and Gore Ranges. The Summit,
west of the Ranch, has top-of-the-world views, the recently opened Summit
Clubhouse and the breathtaking Jack Nicklaus Summit Course.
Lake Creek
Just a few short miles west of Edwards, you will discover this beautiful alpine valley that has long been a favorite among locals. Lake Creek offers lush forests of aspens and evergreens and a rushing river that winds its way through a select number of ranches, two gated communities and a variety of private homes. Creamery Ranch, one of the private 143-acre communities, allows only 20 resident families, and more than half of the available land is dedicated to open space. The other private community is prestigious Pilgrim Downs, which is located in the south end of the Lake Creek Valley, and comes complete with a caretaker's ranch house and plenty of meadows and room for horses to romp around.
Eagle
Eagle, situated along the Eagle River only 35 minutes west of Vail, offers a mountain backdrop more expansive than any in the valley. The town retains the charm of a 1940's small town, both in its storefronts and its friendliness. Eagle's unhurried lifestyle and friendly spirit contribute to the town's growing popularity.
The adjacent community of Eagle Ranch sprawls throughout the lush Eagle valley and enjoys expansive views of the peaks of the Flat Tops and the Sawatch Range. It offers an Arnold Palmer golf course, Brush Creek Park, with145 acres of open space and playing fields, a community center and children's playground. Eagle Ranch is billed as "small-town living at its best." Miles of bike and walking paths connect Eagle Ranch to the town and surrounding open space. Eagle is conveniently located just a short 5-10 minutes from the Eagle County Regional Airport.
Gypsum-Cotton Ranch
Nestled in the Gypsum Valley, Cotton Ranch is a residential community designed around a Pete Dye Championship golf course. Located 35 miles west of Vail and 23 miles west of Beaver Creek, Cotton Ranch offers the longest golf season in the Vail Valley. Exceptional weather allows for golf during most months of the year when all other courses are closed. Cotton Ranch offers spectacular views of the Red Table Mountains, New York Mountains and Castle Peak.
