Centrally located near the prime tourist areas such as Tin City, Bayfront, 5th Avenue South and Third Street South, Aqualane Shores is one of Naples, Florida's original developments. With approximately 400 homes, you will see an eclectic blend of architectural styles…from Mediterranean mansions to quaint Florida cottages. The first homes in this community were built during the 1960's and 1970's. During the 1990's a large number of these original dwellings began to be redeveloped Many underwent large expansions or renovations. In some cases, the oldest homes were completed razed to make way for newer, larger estates.
Homes in Aqualane Shores are among the most expensive in Naples, ranked just behind Port Royal, due to their prime location in one of our most preferred waterfront communities and proximity to downtown. The more expansive the water view, and the more direct the boating access is to the Gulf of Mexico, the more the cost of the home increases. There are still some opportunities to purchase re-sale residences or to acquire a prime lot with a "tear down home" to build a new dream home. Although some homes could be upgraded by working within the original structure and renovating, these situations are becoming more and more obsolete, as land prices now outvalue the improvements by such a huge margin.
Ideally situated inside the Naples city limits, between historic Olde Naples and the grandeur of Port Royal, Aqualane Shores provides a haven for long-time residents and “tried and true” Neapolitans as well as “snowbird” beachcombers.
